Travel Tips- Bethany Beach, DE

Obviously when you take a trip to the beach, you want to go on the beach. Parking is quite a pain in Bethany if you don't go early. Entrances are labeled by streets and the one mistake not to make is enter the beach from the main town. The farther you are from town the easier parking will be and beach space.

2019 is the year for adventures. I am going to start a travel section on my blog to share my experiences from some of my favorite places that I encourage you to visit.

I have been going to Bethany Beach since I was a baby. I know the back streets, the best restaurants and the coolest spots to have some fun.

The boardwalk has a bunch of fun beach shops and if you want to spend more time in shops then on the beach you can walk the town and go in to various places that scream summer love.

I also am aware that Ice Cream is a must have when on the beach. The two best places in town is Dicky's and Khor Bros (both are soft-served). Dicky's is more convenient because it is right on the board walk. There soft-served ice cream is more on the creamier side but is in my opinion the best. Khor Bros is good too, they tend to stay open on rainy days too but they are located just off the boardwalk so its not as convenient.

Restaurants-
There are so many restaurant in the beach area that will blow your mind away. Here are my top 3 favorite.

Mango's is the number one Bethany beach hot spot. It is family friendly, but I do warn that after a certain hour it might be a bar scene. It's famous for there alcoholic beverages, but there food is also something to rave about. The food and service is good and it is such a good price!

Cottage Cafe is another amazing restaurant. It is family-friendly and the food is absolutely outstanding. I go there with my family every time we visit the beach. Its food is fantastic and is a more chill environment compared to Mangoes. The price will also make you smile!

If you are looking for something more fancy, the North East is the place for you. Its hidden in the back of a shopping center but is certainly a gem. It's food and service is amazing and will keep you smiling. It is on the pricier side, but it's totally worth it.

Bethany Beach is such a wholesome community and is a 10/10 in my book. The family fun atmosphere and the overall happiness I have when I visit is incomparable to any other place I've visited. Make your mark in Bethany Beach, DE. It's worth it!

How to Deal with the Stress of a High School Sport

The most stress I have experienced so far in my life is high school, and let me tell you playing a high school sport doesn't take off any of that pressure. I'm here to tell you from my experience, how to deal with the stress. A lot of time I find myself stressed out with the amount of homework I have. I take two college courses which ask at-least 2 hours of work a night multiplied by two classes. It's a lot. Then plying on practice, I find myself up past midnight most nights. Now, here is my solution. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. The more you hold off on work the more it piles up. So every time you think, "Oh I can do that later," you'll look like a raccoon the next day because you have so much to do. Another thing to help deal with an intense workload is to make sure you spend your time efficiently. If you have five minutes at the end of class, take that time to start homework or finish up a project. The more you use your time in school to finish work, means th...

The struggles of finding a summer job

Summer is finally almost here and i'm gonna be honest, I have no money. I spent most of my bank account of concert tickets and airpods so it's like I am in my own mini recession. I'm also 16 which means my parents are constantly down my back about having a summer job. They think I don't want one, but the truth is, it's so hard to find one. A lot of the places I have applied to write back with the same email saying "In the time it takes to train, summer will be over. sorry." Honestly, I don't think it's that hard to work a cash register or guide people to their dinner table, but jokes on me. Another thing is that places hire people with experience. I am 16 years old and the only real job I have ever had is watching my neighbor's dogs. How is a teenager, who goes to school for most of the year and still wants a decent amount of social time suppose to have two years of work experience. It's ridiculous! This reason is probably more of my ...
